Booking

When you book through Sunset Sail Key West, you should receive an email or phone confirmation of your reservation. Please have your credit card ready to place a deposit to hold your reservation.

Cancellation Policy

When you reserve a charter, a significant amount of effort goes toward preparing the vessel for your trip. We understand there are times when you may have to cancel a charter. As long as you give us at least 48 hours, it is minimally disruptive. No shows, especially at the time of launch, or last-minute cancellations make it difficult for us to keep our prices competitive. For cancellations 48 hours or more in advance, we offer a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged a minimum of 20% to a maximum of full price, dependent upon the circumstances.

Weather Cancellations

Our captains and crew will not sail in unsafe weather conditions such as heavy rain, thick fog, high winds, electrical storms, and so on. We will, however, sail in intermediate sprinkles, overcast conditions, and light fog. The decision to sail is ultimately in the hands of the captain. If the captain determines it is unsafe to run a trip, Sunset Sail Key West will do its best to reschedule your trip for another day. If the captain cancels the trip due to unsafe weather conditions, you will be issued a full refund. If you have a confirmed reservation and choose not to sail because of weather and the boat still sails, you will be charged a minimum of 20% up to a maximum of the full ticket price, depending on the season.
